Jonathon & Harvey: Welcome to Insert Productions!

We’re thrilled to welcome Jonathan Wood and Harvey Fraser to Insert Productions, as they chose to spend their placement year with us, as part of their Sound Engineering degrees at the University of Huddersfield. 

Alex Reah, Co-founder and Director said: “Supporting the development of young professionals in our industry is core to our philosophy here at Insert Productions. We’re passionate about creating a platform for young, keen people to enrich their skillset and further their experience, putting their studies into practice in real-world situations.”

Discussing his experiences at Insert Productions so far, Harvey said: “My time at Insert has been demanding but equally rewarding with a lot of opportunities. I’ve learnt a lot by working with new equipment and gaining experience from everyone around me. I’m looking forward to learning more about the business as a whole, not only in the warehouse but the office too. The prospect of heading out on site to assist with the installation of projects is really exciting.”

Jonathan added: “The past few weeks at Insert have been really hands on, I’ve learnt more about live events than I could ever have imagined. Everyone at Insert is supportive, fun to work with and great at teaching us new things. I’ve been out on site once already and I’m hoping to go out more in the future to get a wide range of skills and experience.”

Alex summarised the appointment of Jonathan and Harvey: “They have already established themselves as well-liked and respected members of the team, assisting our crews in the warehouse and onsite. We’re excited to see how they develop during the year with us and are proud to be a part of their journey in live events.”
