We stood side by side with Equinox, providing concept to completion technical support. During the design stage, we aided their team by helping to specify the right technology. Once onsite, we provided specialist crew to install the screen and additional AV equipment required.
Based on Equinox’s use of beMatrix frames and the requirement to install an LED screen within a compact space, we specified an Aluvision Hi-LED 55 LED screen. The 2.5mm pitch LED panels clipped neatly into the beMatrix frames, providing outstanding visual quality with excellent colour rendition and dynamic range.
Our audiovisual technicians liaised with Equinox’s onsite team for the optimal timeslot to install the 2.5 x 4M screen. Panels were fitted into the framework from the front, with no rear access required. Once the screen was complete, Equinox secured the graphics in place and all openings were neatly closed.
We loaded Mamma Mia’s video content onto a high spec MSI gaming laptop, which fed the screen content into a Novastar VX6S LED processor. The audio output was routed through a balance box into an Allen & Heath Zedi 10 console for equalisation and onto two QSC CP8 speakers mounted neatly in the stand construction.
